The long way home
A familiar trail can look different when there is no deadline at the end of it. Leave room for the smaller paths, the afternoon light and a pause beneath the trees.
A landscape journal
Notes from the quieter side of the road. Forest paths, open water and a little time outside.

A familiar trail can look different when there is no deadline at the end of it. Leave room for the smaller paths, the afternoon light and a pause beneath the trees.

The shoreline makes a simple walking companion: water on one side, a path on the other. Watch the weather turn and let the distance take care of itself.

Some places ask for an early start and a slower climb. Pack a layer for the wind, take the marked trail and stop often enough to notice the view.
Northbound is a small collection of photographs and notes about landscapes. There is no list to complete and no perfect route to follow, just a reason to pay a little more attention to the world outside.
Take only photographs, stay on marked paths and leave a place as you found it.
